I was in Hisarönü yesterday and the rate had plummeted to 3.15 and I took a photo to prove it. Thankfully, today at the Çalış Change Offıce it was back to 3.85. I'm sure it will stabilise over the next few days. Beware.

Extreme lack of confidence in GBP right now.  Finans buy rate (when you're exchanging for lira) is currently 3.70 and the sell rate is 4.32 - I've never seen such a gap, ever.

Lets hope things settle down a bit in the coming weeks.

It is located on Carsi Caddesi which is the one way system out of the centre of Fethiye.Where the road curves to the left, the HSBC Bank is on the left hand side.It has 2 ATM's outside that dispense Pounds, Euros and Lira.

Just checked XE and the GBP to TRL rate is just over 4.00 to the pound.  Which is where it approx was at the start of the Referendum Campaign, and if I had money to gamble I'd say that the pound will be even higher in the coming days, weeks and month.  Which is sad really, cos the UK pound is overvalued at the moment and probably has been for at least two years.

It's not exactly gone into freefall though, like the doomsters were predicting.
