Having spent a bit of time in both Jaipur and Udaipur, what got me about both movies was how un-sh1thole like they managed to portray both these places  :)

Considering all the crap that's going on in this world, and in this area too....found this thread a welcome and entertaining relief.  Not a big movie buff, can't remember how many years ago I visited the 'picture house' so all my favourites are yonks old....
The Deer Hunter (Robert De Niro, Meryl Streep, Christopher Walken and assorted stellar cast)
M.A.S.H. (Donald Sutherland, Elliott Gould and assorted stellar cast)
Cabaret (Liza Minnelli, Joel Grey and assorted stellar cast)
Klute (Donald Sutherland, Jane Fonda....not worried about the rest of the cast...these two made the film for me)
They Shoot Horses Don't They? (Jane Fonda, James Sarrazin, Gig Young, Susannah York)
