My first post on here. We will be in Olu Deniz next Sept and will be visiting Calis Beach for at least a couple of days. This photo to me is far away the best of the ones you have posted Scunner. Not so much of the sun setting but the clear focus of the waves and the reflections the sun setting aids to the photo. .Its a stunning photo to me as an amature photographer.I am assuming that photography is a hobby of yours as well. Do you mind me asking what boat trip were you on at the time when you took the photo and what camera you were using. I'm very envious as your photography skills are far much better than mine. Thanks for posting such great photos. A joy to see.

Hi James - this was on Sugar boat and taken just after 6pm. No great technology - just an iPhone 6, a small bit of knowledge and a big bit of luck.

The clarity is always good but I find that sea/sunset photos taken from a boat are normally far more defined than those taken from the shore.

Yes we did thanks, really worth the effort but a bit of a shame there is so much rubbish dumped randomly around the island.
