There is not much more that anyone can say about the result. We will just have to see what happens in January, but that saying has just come true.......Orange is the new black  ;)

It would be good own a company making newspaper photo inks. Apparently there is a worldwide shortage of orange and are tabloids are showing him as yellow instead.

A couple of months ago Kranky Sturgeon of the SNP "sacked" Trump as Scottish Trade Ambassador

because of his outrageous behavior.  Today she was on the phone reminding him of her affection

for him and the special bond between him and Scotland.   Humble Pie. ?? Foot in mouth.??

In Ireland where Donald has bought Doonbeg golf course he wants 20 meter wide wall built of limestone to stop coastal erosion, the cost to be paid by the Irish government. There are also a species of valiant snails who inhabit the golf course who are fighting back and need constant surveillance  and protection, plus he is also under threat from the dreaded wind turbines as he was in Scotland. One of his first telephone calls after the election win was to Enda Kenny in Dublin!

Mr Trump has also turned around 180 degrees in what he says. Before the election he said Clinton was a criminal and the most corrupt politician the USA has ever seen. After the election he said she was a great public servant to whom the USA owes a debt of gratitude. I don't think Sturgeon has a hope of winning the Hypocrisy Stakes against him. Not that she has much of a choice. What would you been saying if she slagged off the President of the most powerful country on earth?

Someone been reading the Daily Mail or the Express perhaps.  It is standard protocol to offer congratulations to the winning candidate of a friendly country's general election.

Scotland's first minister has vowed not to maintain a "diplomatic silence" in the face of any racism, misogyny or intolerance from Donald Trump.

Nicola Sturgeon released a statement congratulating Mr Trump after his surprise victory in the US election.

But speaking at First Minister's Questions the following day, she made clear that she stood by her previous criticisms of his campaign.

Ms Sturgeon had backed Hillary Clinton ahead of the presidential election.

The first minister told MSPs she had faced criticism for breaking the convention that political leaders do not comment on election campaigns in other countries.

But she said many of Mr Trump's comments during the campaign had been "deeply abhorrent".

She said: "I never want to be, I am not prepared to be, a politician that maintains a diplomatic silence in the face of attitudes of racism, sexism, misogyny or intolerance of any kind."

"I hope that president-elect Trump turns out to be a president very different to the kind of candidate he was and reaches out to those who felt vilified by his campaign."
