Mens all leather shoes.
« on: June 05, 2017, 14:43:39 PM »
Could anyone recommend a quality mens shoe shop in Fethiye. I'll be looking for a couple of pair of all leather gents formal shoes, all leather upper and sole. Saw some in Kusadasi a couple of weeks ago and wasn't sure as they were 275 and 350tl respectively, reasonable, but unsure of the brands. Looking for something of the Loake or Barker quality as I am aware leather quality in Turkey can be hight if you know where to go.

Leather coats and handbags are of good quality in Turkey. Men's shoes, not so good. ( Mrs KKOB used to work in manufacturing for Loake's many moons ago. ) You can buy Loake, Tricker's' and Barker footwear in Istanbul. If you're looking for that level of quality in Fethiye, I'd buy them through Amazon.co.uk . They'll post to Turkey.

The shop in the Erasta is Hottic. I have bought sandals from there.. However, Phil always says he never thinks a lot of Turkish men's shoes.

My OH has bought loads of handmade leather shoes in Turkey over the past 30+ years, but sadly not for a few years now as the quality has deteriorated a lot in recent years.
I remember once taking a pair for repair in the Uk and the shoemaker telling me they were the best handmade shoes he had ever seen.

Tried to order shoes on Amazon for delivery in Turkey but can't seem to get them delivered here. Am I doing something wrong?

Just asked her. Mrs KKOB didn't work at Wood Street. She was at the Finedon site.

It might be a problem if you're using a Turkish credit / debit card.
