Yes you are right, its great what free food can do, to fill a restaurant.

To be honest we didn't know that there would be free food but the buffet that they laid on was  lovely, Rather than  being cynical I would like to think that lots of people turned out to support a new venture run by two popular Calis faces. It is very brave  of them to open a new business at this time of year and,  as there are few restaueants and bars open in Calis  during the winter,  the more places to go the better. Good luck to them we hope they do well.

We are at the Summer Breeze at the moment, it is quite busy, and very chilled.

Popped in last night for a cocktail, and we received a warm welcome, both from the boys and the brazier! We had a couple of margueritas, and they were to die for, best I've had here. We walked along the prom to the Indian and returned a couple of hours later for another marguerita. This time we sat inside where it was warm and welcoming and they were playing some lovely chilled out music. I can recommend it, and next time we will eat there as we have heard that the food is good and reasonably priced too, as was the cocktail at 18tl   :)
