Fethiyespor lost for the first time in 4 games as they were beaten 2-1 away at promotion chasing Menemen Belediyespor this afternoon. The hosts, who are the leagues top scorers, took the lead after 17 mins when Huseyin Colak scored. Ramazan Zorlu grabbed his 7th goal of the season after 35 mins to draw Fethiye level. Just when it looked like Fethiye would come home with a hard earned point, substitute Ali Ozgun scored the winner for Menemen in the 88th minute. Menemen move to the top of the table with that win while Fethiye remain 14th,although all the teams around them play tomorrow.
Another tough match next weekend for Fethiye when they entertain Tuzlaspor who could return to the top of the table if they win tomorrow.

Fethiyespor put in a rousing performance yesterday as they held league  leaders Tuzlaspor to a 0-0 draw, the second time this season Fethiye have grabbed a point off the Istanbul side. The first half saw the Fethiye defence, missing the influential Erdi Bakirci keep the front two of Tuzla quiet. The big No.9 Yilmaz is the league's top scorer with 14 goals, and his partner in attack Ozdiriz has 10 which together is only 1 goal less than the entire Fethiyespor side has scored this season. Not only did Fethiye defend well they had the better chances in the first half, captain Alican Karadag crashing a shot off the inside of the Tuzla post and then seeing his volley from a corner saved by the keeper and in injury time Ramazan Zorlu narrowly missing with a flying header. Also Fethiye had valid very valid claims for a penalty turned down after a cross into the box hit a Tuzla defenders arm, with the referee only a matter of feet away.
The second half was much the same as the first until the 67th minute when Tuzla went down to 10 men after Zengin received a 2nd yellow card. After that Tuzla shut up shop and settled for a point which keeps them top. Fethiye remain 14th with 23 points. A mid-week away game for Fethiye next as they travel to Tarsus, who are in free-fall at the moment with only 1 point from their last 5 games and are only 2 places and 6 points above Fethiye. Earlier in the season the teams drew 1-1 at Fethiye.

Fethiyespor managed another draw this afternoon as they drew 1-1 away at Tarsus. Fethiye opened the scoring in the 41st minute with mid-fielder Sefa Aksoy netting his second goal of the season for the club. The hosts drew level just  before  the hour mark when substitute Emir Sayar scored.
That point sees Fethiye remain 14th in the table on 24 points but they are now only 1 point above the bottom 3. Another tough away game on Sunday for Fethiye as they face 9th in the table Kahramanmaras who have beaten the top 2 sides in their last 2 games. Earlier in the season in Fethiye the sides drew 0-0.

Fethiyespor made it 3 draws in 3 games as they came away from Kahranmaras with a 0-0 draw yesterday afternoon. That was also the third 0-0 draw Fethiye have managed in their last 5 games and although  they gained a point they move down one place in the table to 15th with 25 points.
A chance for Fethiye to ease their relegation worries next weekend with a home game against Sivas Belediyespor. Sivas are 9th in the table and 7 points ahead of Fethiye. Earlier in the season the two sides played out a 1-1 draw.

Fethiyespor had to come from behind to earn their first win in 6  games as they beat Sivas Belediyespor 2-1 at home yesterday afternoon. Fethiye looked much the better team in the first half hour but did not produce any clear cut chances. The second half was a tale of 2 subs and 2 penalties. First teenage striker Anil Aricioglu clipped the legs of a Sivas player in the box ,just 4 mins after coming on at half time, and Gazioglu put Sivas 1-0 up. In the 70 th minute Fethiye got a penalty themselves for handball and sub Oktay Delibalta who had only been on the pitch for 5 mins scored his 3rd goal of the season.
Just when the game looked to be heading for a draw, winger Abdullah Topkara scored his first goal for the club with just 8 minutes remaining. That win sees Fethiye back up to 14th on 28 points and they are now 5 points clear of the relegation zone. A trip up to the Black Sea next for Fethiye as they take on Zonguldak who are 2 places and 5 points above Fethiye in the table. Earlier in the season the two sides drew 0-0.
