« on: September 20, 2018, 09:28:59 AM »
How does the on-street parking in Fethiye work these days ? Is it still a case of find a space and then one of the parking lads or lasses will put a ticket on the car for you to pay on return ?

Yes, but you have to be darned lucky to find a space these days. Best bet is often the non-food area of Tuesday market, though, obviously not on Tuesdays & on Fridays all the vans from the farmers' market take the spaces

Yes very hard to find a space, they have been using the school playgrounds for parking.
But now the kids are back at school its going to be hard to get a space.

Parking in Fethiye is very difficult. Even in the evenings.

I generally do what Liz 101 suggested, and use the pazar car park, as long as it isn't Tuesday or Friday.

Not of caution: don't leave your car in the pazar car park after 5pm on a Monday afternoon. I came back from a boat trip to find my car covered in t-shirts and other clothing, as the stall holders set up their stalls in preparation for the following day ...
