Heads up.
Apparently Thursday may be a bank holiday , as such a good that the lock down may just start then.

Can we expect Calis (or any other holiday resort) to return to normal when restrictions are lifted?  Several months ago we booked our Calis hotel for two weeks in October this year. I wonder if they will be able to open for a very short season as many hotel, restaurant and bar owners plus shopkeepers and tour operators will have closed their premises during the present lockdown, inevitably laying off staff and losing their planned revenue for the peak holiday season.

A thought has just struck me...........here I am feeling sad about possibly losing a holiday when thousands of people throughout the world have lost their lives.   Puts things into perspective doesn't it?   :(

Reflecting on this, despite the losses, the majority of hoteliers and restaurants won’t exploit customers as a result of this. The exploitation will come from the flight and tour operators.
