« on: October 08, 2005, 18:03:38 PM »
We would like to say hello to e.body on this forum. We are from Belgium ( I am Turkish and my wife Catherine Belgian ). We do have a small villa in Calis since 2001 and we love to spend our holidays there. We have 4 (Four) children. We have been member of this forum only a week and we loved it. I work for International Express Company ( I don't name it due to rules of this site ) and my wife is Psychologue and working at youth education field.

I have noticed, some of you have young childreen, do you have a Ebglish school in Fethiye ? I have never heard of it ? The reson for my question is, 'ONE DAY' we would like to leave permanantly in Calis and our youngest child is only 4 and we are looking for a
quick solutions ?

If you have any quesions about us pls feel free to ask and hope to meet some of you soon !

Welcome Dogan & Catherine,
If you click on the search facility (top right) and put in English Schools you should get a fair amount of information from previous posts.

Thank you all !!!

Let me try to give you some answers for your qustions:

Our house is next to Dogus Hotel. With in 24 semidetached villas.
We go to Calis Twice a year will all family. 2 weeks in April due to school holidays. 3 to 4 weeks in July. Depends on my work. But my wife and children min 4 weeks in July.
Our children allready attending at English School in Belgium ( Liege ). It doesn't cost but we are prepared to pay if the standard is there. WE have another solution in Istanbul but we are not too sure about boarding school idea ( Lycee de Galatasaray in Istanbul ).
First time this year Catherine and I was coming 'a lone' for a week ( 16 oct ) but dute German Holidays all the flight are booked and the most reasonable price was 400 Euro+, and unfortunately we had to cancel it.

Again, thank you all for warm well come and hope to see you and meet you one day...

ps: Fyi, we have lived and worked in UK about 8 years before I took up a job in Belgium.... so we are familiar with your culture or we are 'compatable' ))) like you are...

K Rgds
