Can't believe he caught us all out with his little scam....

He got us last year...  Out came the lemon etc etc...  We felt so embarrased and didn't want to be impolite.  We thought he was trying to flog the lemon spray so we bought a bottle and some grosseries, to show our appreciation.  He then hit us with a 40TL charge for the massages...  I didn't want to argue with him since we had our little boy with us.  We paid and quickly left.

If anything it's taught us a lesson and we will never get caught out like this again.

If you are thinking of buying a property in Turkey please don't let this influence you...  We've been to tuirkey many of times

oh what a relief to know that we were not the only ones who were mugged by this beast. though it was 2 years ago we still feel sick when we pass near his shop what a disgrace to the turkish people who are helpful and really nice. he is a pig.
I feel a bit better now ive got that of my chest.

I don't think it was his shop ......maybe he just conned the owner as well.  Haven't seen him anywhere near there for several months now but he is regularly seen around the big mosque area doing shoe shine, but he does not seem as much in your face as he used to be. :)

the authorities here dont like this kind of thing happening because its bad for tourism, maybe we should get together with some kind of joint complaint and perhaps a photo of him and hand it in to the locals mayors and govners ofices am shure they would take action against him.

further to my last post i am prepared to make the complaint if i can get a min of 6 people emailing me with thier individual experiances of harrasment, address the letter to the mayor and govner of fethiye and give a brief description of your experiances. there is a pic on here of him i can print out and use.leave the rest to me and am shure the powers that be will take him aside and make shure he is not a neiusance anymore. they really dont like this kind of behaviour.
