Hi GT

To be honest, it was the cost of property at the moment, you can get a lot of property/land for a pretty good price. I spoke to many people before actually visiting and committing to Dalaman. Dalman itself is nothing special at the moment but with the proposed development around the area, proximity to airport and central location to Callis, Marmaris, Gocek and Dalyan, it seemed a good area to invest in.

Actually to be more succinct, it was the sunbathing and golf that swung it.

Welcome to the forum.My husband and myself live in Basildon which is not to far from Braintree, we have brought an apartment in Calis beach which will be finished in july.We are going over on 24th February and wondered what the weather was like.

Rule of thumb about 10 degrees hotter than the UK during the day!

Try www.wunderground.com and where prompted put in Dalaman and you will get a 7 day forecast and the option of a monthly history for any month you choose.
