Steve,
There is a dolmus that takes you straight to the beech from Calis, look for the usual "Gunluklu" sign on the front, the area is just before Gocek, you will see a brown sign on the Dalaman main road, 1km.
There is an access charge to beach for people on foot as well in cars, couple of lira for on foot and 7-8lira for car.
The dolmus stops about 300yrds from the beach at the payhut (i think), so don't go loaded up with the kitchen sink, cars can go all the way, there is a car park by beach.
Toilets are midway between payhut and beach, there is also a "convenience shop" and a couple of ""beech"" bars for food and drink.
The beech is good for non swimmers and children as the slope into the sea is not as steep as Calis or Olu (you need to wade out about 20 yards for a pee).
There is no shade and the ant's are bl**dy huge! see Rimm's excellent picture, you will also find it is a retreat for Turkish people from northern Turkey, about 100 or so, its a camping site sort of, when we have gone there has hardly been any brits.
Its also where Brown Bear proposed to me (after i had to lift his head out of the water).
it was true - a bear was on the beach!
There is another nice beach just before called Karanchi just as good.
