Hello We have been coming to Turkey for the past 18 years and Calis Beach 5 time over the past 8 years. We have just returned from two weeks in Calis to the gloom of the UK. We would like to maintain a link to the paradise of Turkey, as when we retire, we would like to live there.
kind regards Suehugh |

Hi Sue. Welcome to CBF. You must have seen a lot of changes after visiting Turkey for eighteen years and Calis for eight. You have picked the right place to retain your link prior to retirement |

Thanks for the welcome-Much appreciated Its Sue and Hugh-She is the boss and I carry the bags
Spent some idylic time in Uzumulu last week-Went for a meal at the the wine bar-We sat on the front to watch the world go by. From around 1.30 to around 4.00-6 people passed in that time- 2 of them twice--Guess it was the rush hour. Excellent sevice and food by the way. The menu a little too English perhaps, but cooked the turkish way. We also visited the previous week and would like to thank Glendine and Graham who made us welcome and gave us an insight into life in this hill village. Apologies to anybody else tthat saw us lurking around the village for six hours. We were just looking-Not casing the joint I think thats our dilema for the future-Where to settle-Calis or Uzumulu (Not sure where the spell check is on this thing) |

Hi welcome, I advise that you rent first when you come here to retire, if, that is you intend to buy eventually, Try living in both places winter and summer then decide where to settle. Hope all goes well |

Thanks Julesp, my husband wants to do that but I just want to move straight away. Nearer the time I will make up his mind for him. |
