Hi,
Has anyone heard of the Rose restuarant in Calis, I can't place it along the beach front or over the bridge by the water taxis but have to admit havn't ventured much further away than that to eat on our trips to Calis. Been given the name by a friend & wondered if anyone knew anything about it.

La Rose is on the prom just up from the Lighthouse walking away from calas centre .. its next to 1905 pub..
May i add its a very nice place to eat ,with Great staff..

Thankyou very much, must have walked past it a thousand times over the past 3 years, don't know how I managed to miss it!! Do I blame it on too much sun or too much efes!?!? Will definately pay it a visit when over in a couple of weeks.

| Yes it is the one that used to be Rushy's. Attached to Hotel Gul, 'rose in English'. Halit (Andy) is working there he used to be at Serkul 1. |

We met Andy (Halit)4 years ago & is who mentioned La Rose to us, he's coming to collect us from the airport & told us he's now working there, a visit to Calis wouldn't be the same without spending at least an evening with him. Last year it was 13 out of 14 evenings spent at Serkul because of the friendly atmosphere & the way he looked after us!! Totally agree that he's a top bloke & looking forward to seeing him & his lovely family again. Less than 2 weeks to go. yippee!  |

just back from Calis, and we met Andy at Rose. He is a fan of Tom Jones, but hasn,t got green green grass of home or delilia.
Used to pull his leg about it. Barry also works with him and he is a great bloke also. please mention the tom jones stuff and he will know who told you Ta. |
