I emailed Rain yesterday to cancel transfer but have had no reply. As I didn't want them turning up as a wasted journey I emailed them again this morning asking them if they could confirm my cancellation?
The reply I just received said 'CANCELLED'
How ignorant?  :)

Since last I posted, I have used Rain on 2 other occassions. Had a 30 minute wait at Dalaman. Not great but still on the edge of tolerable. The reason given for the delay was Bovine Faeces.( A baby had been sick in the car on previous jouirney and it had to be cleaned.)
Return from Fethiye to Dalaman was timed for a half hour earlier than I would have chosen if doing private transfer but again still tolerable.

I may use them again because at £12 return it has been good value.
The company emails have been short. ie CONFIRMED;PICK UP 22-35.
Never struck me as rude, just business-like.
Done.

Sounds like a really good idea Scunner. We have used Raintransfer twice now and although they were reliable, the pick up time for the return transfer was far too early.

Sounds like a brilliant idea to me Keith, I quite often fly on my own so would be more then happy to share with someone and save some money, also if something does go wrong with your transfer (if they dont turn up or whatever)it would not be so bad being at Dalaman if you were not on your own.

OK so

In the Member holiday dates section, you can indicate your willingness/desire to find others to share a transfer with by adding your flight number to your subject. If you don't want to but still want to add your holiday dates, just continue as it is, just put your dates as your subject line...

Subject Line e.g. "11th October - 18th October TCX 443L" means you are holidaying and would be interested in sharing transfers

Subject Line e.g. "11th October - 18th October" means you are holidaying and would NOT be interested in sharing transfers

Let the chaos begin

At the risk of pushing my luck, can I suggest

Subject Line e.g. "11th October - 18th October TCX 443L (09:30)"

(09:30) =  scheduled landing time

I was thinking of two flights landing within, say, less than an hour of each other.
