Monarch has some great flight prices at the moment, 16th 19th 26th April for under £50 one-way 10kg hand luggage.

Anne have you thought of car hire to the Airports South of the boarder, pick up eco car Glasgow and drop off at Luton 25th/26th April £73 that would still be under £200 for the two of you.
Alamo have car hire Glasgow to Luton £38

yes some good prices, just booked 17th may till 28th may, worked out £106 return.
