Sounds like you had a rough time Rachel. How dispicable for the owner of the hotel, and the barman to treat you in this way.I am a great believer in 'what goes around comes around', so if people choose NOT TO USE THiS HOTEL in the future, then perhaps they will get their reward!!.....It certainly worked in Hisaronu, when Nadias Irish Bar (NOW CLOSED) thought that they could make a profit by being supportive of the Dolphinarium!!...People vote with their feet and their wallets!!

And I know the hotel is the cheapest part of the holiday but it's still nice to get something for nothing

Many thanks scouser2 for your support.  It's a shame that a nice hotel such as the Remer is getting a bad name because of the lease-holder Ramazan Dinc (not to be confused with the nice manager also called Ramazan or Rambo).  The barman Izzy is a nasty little piece of work but it will only be a matter of time before Mr Dinc has a go at HIM.  The garden and bar area have been beautifully refurbished this year and Mr Dinc is hot under the collar trying to make up for what it cost him to do this work.  Unfortunately, nice surroundings do NOT make nice people OR a friendly atmosphere.  Nice hotel, shame about some of the staff.

Please can you return to the topic now. You have explained your situation and there is now no need to keep repeating it and the names of those you have had problems with. Trust me I know what it is like to work hard over there and not get what you are owed, but you are starting to sound like you came here to publicize something of a vendetta. It is good to hear how helpful you were when working there, can we see some of that on here too? Thanks...
