Koca Calis

If you do your research KC is still not a bad place to buy. Some areas are fine and it's only a couple that flood. There are some lovely villas being built at the moment but to be honest, considering the low cost if the land (I'm taking this as said as I really don't know how it compares to Calis land prices) they are not cheap.

Three round the corner from us are up at £175k or £195k ( I can't remember which) and that is expensive IMO.

It certainly does Keith. One of the reasons we stopped renting to strangers

Plus it's (evidently) the place to be in the next few years. Watch this space  

Drainage needs improvements in parts though.

We had a good look round Koca Calis, while walking to Ciftlik market. Wherever we walk now it's looked on as a potential 'could we live here' fact finding mission. I actually like it's village feel without being too far from anywhere. we did pass the time of day with an english lady with a whole gang of dogs who made me laugh, and on the subject of flooding our pretty,  typical English country village was under water for weeks this year, so I don't see the problem
