I think it's perfectly fair that bonafide wheelchair users get the help required, it's the family's with children that think they've some god given right to walk straight to the front of the queue that gets my goat!

I think it's right that families with young children get seated early. if they get on last and there is limited seating how can you expect a young child to sit on their own for a 4 hour flight?

Like everyone else, if you need to sit together then book your seats accordingly. I've travelled all over the world with a young family and never once had a problem.

Obviously it is not wheelchair users that are the problem, it is folk who abuse the system.
It makes sense to allow them time to get on as otherwise they would be holding others up and that would cause complaints as well.  It also allows airport staff to be freed up to go and help others.
The plane won't leave without us so what does it matter.
Have to say that children under five and an adult is acceptable but the whole family is a different matter.  Only once had to do it with our grandchild and I went on with him as he was sleeping and I was carrying him at the time.  The other five adults queued.

No concessions for young children at Dalaman.  We stood in a queue for 1 hour and watched two totally upset toddlers being comforted by their Mothers and Fathers.  They were stripped down to underwear and walked out of the queue and around the airport and back.  These children where in a bad state, but no one offered to put them to the front of the queue and allow them through.

My issue is with one wheelchair user and four of their group "jumping" a passport control with still over two and a half hours to take-off time.

Just to get back on track H, can I have the letter M?  MISSED you and Brenda (that's the bad review of "M" ), but only just - it appears we were all in Calis at the same time (for the first time!) but still managed to miss you!  We overlapped by a few days too.  Oh well - MAYBE next time (that's the good review of "M" ;)     :)

Sounds like you had a good time; loved the review.

Agreed julesbob0303. I don't quite know how we contrived not to get together   ;).

T would be for technology. I can't tell you how often I saw a group of 4 - 6 dinners half of whom spent a decent amount of their meal time on either mobile phones or tablets. They barely spoke to each other for the time that they were in the restaurant

Good to meet you again H. Thanks for taking the time (whilst leaving your drink) to pop and see us.

Looks like you had a great time!
