She only does items for Woman.
Well I must have been x-dressing because she has repaired and altered a number of my items of clothing.

See picture below of me in some of my altered clothing.

I see you have a new Hairdo!  :)

Good idea Puma, I was also thinking she might be able to slot a panel in down either side, if it's a plain colour that she can't match, she could use a contrasting colour or, if it's patterned, she could use plain fabric in one of the prominent colours. Just a thought?  :-\

When I went to pick up my alterations  I took my husband along and he asked her could she shorten some trousers for him. She said "No, I only work for women".   So, my husband took the trousers to the little man by the Guitar Bar.
Obviously, your picture must be correct Mr Tickets and she took your for a woman... So from now on we will have to call you Mrs Tickets.  :D ;D

Would not recommend the tailor by Guitar Bar either, I took a pair of summer trousers to have a new  zip put in.  When I went to collect them, they looked as if a 2year old had done it by hand.   I pointed out the problem and just said I wasn't paying and walked out.
There is no way I would trust them to do a good job.

Wanted to give praise to both these tailors in Calis...
The lady up from Meri Bar opposite side of the road put a new zip in a pair of my fav jeans ( they don't fit me either but still my favs!)bargain price of 5tl,did not bother with the dress as realised she is not a miracle worker! She could not do my sons jeans as she did not have the rivets thing so I went to the
lady in the Guitar bar square, brilliant my sons jeansxwere done for the bargain price of 1 tl but obviously gave her more, also I broke a shoe which I love and I took that in,when I went to collect a young lad translated she had not done it as she could not do it neatly I said I did not mind that as I just wanted to be able to wear them, she said ok tomorrow...we decided to stay and have a drink so I could mother a little black kitty there.whilst having a beer she came over with the shoe all done and said 2tl,again I gave her more, both excellent services we thought... ;D

The lady opposite the Meri Bar is excellent.  I had looked everywhere for a white summery lined dress before we came out to Turkey last month - couldn't find one anywhere!  (I love white dresses when I have a good tan  :) !!).  Anyway, I found just the thing in Kipa in the Florence and Fred range, but it was a maxi dress, which I didn't want.  I took it straight to the tailor, and asked her to alter it to knee-length, and remove the bottom edged panel and put that back on the shortened dress.

She did it for 5 lira!  I probably couldn't have bought the cotton for that, let alone attempt to take up the dress!!!

She is excellent; I have had many things altered by her, plus bought tops and dresses from her.  She has also made me a summer dress in the same style as one I took in to get altered!
