You can hire them from a phone shop in ovacik  near pasa sofrasi . Its about 200 yards before you get to the roundabout at hisaranou .

Bought one of these three weeks ago like another member said best investment ever, speed is far better then some wifi,s iv used in Turkey, i got my neighbour to check my balance in her Turkish mobile thinking it woukd be low and i still had around half left...
Popped in a Turkcell shop and is defo 6 months the sim will be cut off if not topped up, the guy said you can top up online on the Turkcell page using a credit card....

Best to buy them at the main Turkcell shop in Fethiye, costs 150tl plus sim plus 79tl for 10gb. I bought mine in April and topped it up last week at the shop past the Sunday market. You lose any unused data after 3 months. I took mine back home and put a UK data sim in and it worked, but the Turkcell Man had said it wouldn't, so it must be unlocked.
