Will you be here in early December Kizkucuk? only the Calis Carnival Committee also organise a Christmas Fair along the promenade -  gift and craft stalls, Father Christmas and his sleigh, mulled wine, mince pies in fact the lot! and it is a really nice day out.

If not, as Marjo says, try and think up a fancy dress costume for the Boxing Day Sponsored Splash. Last year we had a Christmas tree, nun, fairy, Batman and Robin amongst others all charging into the sea to raise money for helping disadvntaged children in the area, It is a great way to get to know people particularly over a hot toddy (or two)
afterwards :D

Nil Bar

Anna's (on front)
Anna's (opposite Genpa)

Guvens (I think)
Serkul 1 (for fantastic chinese at good prices)

Even with my alcohol needs I find that there is enough to choose from !! ! 8)
There may be more but these are the ones that are usually open all year round  Other members may know of others I have forgotten

Thanks for that info Sue,we are hoping to come out for New Year this year and I was a little worried on reading the beginning of this thread, but the places you have named are plenty enough choice for us.
