Hello Alan, we live in Onchan, very close to Douglas similar distance Calis to Fethiye but not quite the same weather.

Welcome to the forum - there is so much invaluable advice on here - it's really helped me with all sorts of information to help me settle in and find the best places to go, shop and find things out. There is a search facility at the top where you can type in what you are looking for and it will bring up all the topics that have that phrase. I'm sure you'll enjoy your New Home - Calis is a lovely place to live and you'll soon make friends and feel part of the community :-)

Hi Margaret & Robert, welcome to the forum!
I use to fly to the Isle of Man every year when I was a child, I loved it. We stayed in Douglas, but hired a car so used to go everywhere.
Would love to go back one day, but cheaper to go to Turkey!!

We hope to have the best of both worlds, some time here on the island maybe july/august, not sure if I can cope with the heat in turkey then, but most of the year in turkey.
