hi every one, Im linny eliot from Wales (47), have just got back from Fetiye having agreed to buy a property in overcik area. This is a great website and wish I had discovered it earlier. Have any other members bought in the same area ? Would really welcome some feedback.

We bought an apartment last june, its on the Olive Grove complex in Ovacik, We shall be visiting several times this year, hopefully. Where in Ovacik have you decided to buy ?. I am sure you will find the people on this site both friendly and helpful, the site is also full of interesting information.

Thanks for reply, The house is a new build  its one of the Hannel houses on the main hisonaru rd, Xanthos villas (sorry if im spellin wrong. Im buying through Lagoon estates and I can tell you at the price it a scarey venture. Im hoping someone can put my mind at rest on this site.

Hiya Sue, yep its a brilliant site The people on here seem to be extremely friendly and helpful. Im very nervous at the moment, like I said Ive agreed on quite a large sum for the house and I suppose Im doing the Brit thing of worrying. I have to be honest this is the first time I have had to have faith in a totally unknown procedure and I feel like sitting with everything crossed,hoping that everything goes smoothly

Welcome aboard, Ovacik types are very welcome here.

You have bought from one of the biggest builder companies in the the region, I doubt you have anything to worry about - I'm sure it won't stop you worrying because it's a lot of money  

We sell their properties too so we know them very well indeed, and they are both fine and upstanding.

We are also buying a property from Hanel, but on their Lissa Park complex in Calis.   So far, no problems at all.   We have found them to be extremely professional and helpful, and the general concensus of local opinion seems to be that they are one of the largest and best developers in the area.

 I feel a little better but cant help wondering if it would of been better to buy direct from hanel and not thro agent, Would this of been possible) was only there one week but had agreed to buy within two days, so Im realizing I was probably a little reckless

The only thing you have to worry about is, "will you be able to go back to Wales once you have stayed in your new property".
