Hi Nicky, welcome back to the forum. As long as you still like Turkey, especially Fethiye/Calis, you can come and go as much as you like!

Wow! what a welcome back, thank you everyone.  And yes I still love Turkey, but sadly not been back for a few years.  Planning to next year, to Calis.  It appears to have changed a lot since I was there way back in 96'.  But it holds such delicious, poweerful memories for me.  It waas my first ever trip abroad and it just knocked me out totally from stepping off the plane, the coach trip to Calis and the sheer excitement of being in a different and such exotic country.   I was so knackered from travelling overnight, but all I wanted to do was explore the place.  My boyfriend at the time just wanted to sleep.  I was too scared to venture out on my own.  The first thing I ate was the delicious ekmek bread (did I spell that right?
We stayed in the Hotel Oasis.  I guess its not there any more, never see it in any brochures or pics.
Anyway, Ive rambled on.....got to go to work and drream of my next trip to Turkey.   Again thanks for the warm welcome back folks.

oasis as in next to dolphin roundabout haha me and my friend rented a "apartment" there for 2months what a nightmare the place is a total dive and the turkish family who runs it were a nightmare completely rude and out of order when friends(english girls) came to visit us in the afternoon they were made to answer 100 questions before being allowed in to see us. Still open as a hotel but i would never tell anyone to stay here! Welcome back to the forum
