Just got back this morning - and yes afraid so - it is still going on - but not so bad. I think that you will be surprised at the latest developments around the complex. There are bridges now - and the area is very rough all around - but after all - it is still 'very much' work in progress everywhere. It will be a fair few years before everything is as it should be in the area. Also - just to advise - the temperatures were over 55 degrees. There are reports that next week the temperatures will be 62 degrees! It is so hot you cannot sit out in it. It seems that they have not had these temperatures for a fair few years!

it still sounds great when you are in england though.out in 4 weeks.will have to just chill around the pool and keep going for a dip.hard life.Hope you had a lovely time kirby,when you out again?

I love it hot just means a few dips in the pool and a few efes to keep cool. oh wel the things we have to cope with!

Next out 2nd 2 weeks in September Amanda. Celebrate our daughters 21st there! Arranged a cake whilst we were out - so that will be a surprise for her! There are a few of our friends who live out there 24/7 and additional friends who own out there - but live here in the UK - making arrangements now to be there when we are - also some Turkish friends will be there.... Should be a good night. Her birthday is the day before we come home - so then it will be another night out for friends an family. She had a huge party for her 18th - so it will not be so big for her 21st!
