DONE IT, we've finally sat on our balcony in Calis, and couldn't be happier, left everything behind us, no room for too many memories, just picked up a few and got in taxi, 23 years of them would have cost me a fortune in excess, besides that a four bedroomed house of furniture wouldn't fit in a two bedroom appartment, what i left behind i'll buy new, just wish i could talk Turkish, it's ok saying never too old to learn, but i aint even mastered English yet and i'm 59. Alan

Man city towel would be, but it's faded that much you have trouble seeing it, and gt, yes i left the brick in England, i would also have an ice cold efes too but electrics only just come back on , so efes isn't so cold, it's been off since 5 this morning, but thanks all for the early replies. Alan. P.S. if anyone can get a city towel from their local market and bring it over I would be grateful, they are about £5, thank you

Alan - from one mancunian to another - good luck!

We hope to get out there in 3 years time and spend 6 months in Fethiye and 6 months in our flat in Lytham St Annes.

All the best - Ian

Ps I did support Man City for 3 years - which might sound odd but I had a neighbour / friend called Willie Donachie and tended to follow his teams / career (Oldham / Everton / Man City / Sheff Utd / Ipswich) - until he recently took over at Millwall !!!!
