Hi Everyone!

I'm Laura an am 27 (nearly 28 god im getting old :D) and live in Invergowrie near Dundee.

Had my very first holiday last year, yes my first holiday ever!!! to Calis with my best buddy Debs, and her family and another Laura also. Couldn't have picked a nicer place to go for a first holiday. Calis is gorgeous.  The weather is great and the food/shops/nightlife are also great.

I always get stuck what to write in these intro thingies so will just leave it at that before i write something that makes me come across as a complete idiot!

I was hoping to go back again this year, however my other half wanted to go to Spain and seeing as I left him all alone last year when I went to Calis I thought I would give him the holiday choice this year. I'm hoping to go back next year though.

I had heard so many stories about lechy men and rubbish food before I went I was a bit worried, but the people there were the nicest I have met, nicer than most of the people I know here!

Hi Alan,

Thanks for your welcome.

I don't have anywhere to compare Calis to and it was such a great place to go for a first holiday that I'd be happy to go there and nowhere else for the rest of my life.

My mum and dad go to Turkey every year. They normally go to Marmaris and this year they are going to spain same time as us but they are talking about trying Calis next year now that I have told them how great it is.

Hi,

Thanks for everyone's nice welcomes!

I did like Fethiye as a place.  the walk along the harbour front was great! I didn't however enjoy the market as I was groped (actually grabbed in some not very nice place) by nearly every stallholder. It was the only thing that I didn't enjoy about my holiday. Hasn't put me off though.  Next time the hubby will be with me!  ;)
