I was looking for a Playstation game on Ebay, and found the very one with only around 30 mins remaining at the original (unbidded upon) starting price of £2.99.
Thinking this was reasonable and that half an hour wasn't long to wait I bid £2.99.
To kill time I browsed some more, and found the same game available as a "Buy It Now" item for £1.99.
Now it's only a quid but I was kicking myself for my hasty bid. I was prepared to live with my foolhardy actions but couldn't forgive myself. Such things annoy me
Then I got an email from Ebay to say I'd been outbid [
] so I went and bought the one at £1.99.
So thank you to the Ebayer who outbid me.
If there is someone stupider than me, it is you.
And if there is someone stupider than you, it is the third Ebayer who bid the £2.99 one up to £7.10
