Hello - Just joined as I want to learn more about Turkey in general and Calis in particular. I now live in East London - used to be great a place to live - but not so great now! and as I'm getting close to my Sell by Date (getting old) - want to enjoy a more relaxed life style,

Hi and a very warm welcome to the Forum.  Lifestyle here in Turkey is certainly more relaxed.....we don't do stress! :)

I know i've only lived here 10 days , but as far as i'm concerned it was the best move i ever made, and i don't have any stress now, it's a nice easy life from now on. Alan, by the way, welcometo the forum Carrick

Hi Carrick, welcome to the forum. You will certainly enjoy life in Calis. I used to visit a friend who lived in Plaistow and we would go to see West Ham play football. That was about forty yers ago!.

I think you echo the feelings of a number of us about "sell by date" - "no stress" etc
