Sands Bar ?........

Hi men max,i am sorry i did not know there was a page especially for little sands.I dont really understand what you are saying.
We went into the little sands and had 2 gins and diet cola we paid  for them and got charged 16TL we then had 2 more gin and diets cokes and got charged another 16TL (4 drinks in total 32TL).We thought this was exspensive and had a look at the menu were the price said gin 7TL.We live here and always go into the Liman and Birlik were we always get charged 10TL for 2 gin and diet cokes.We thought we would give the little sands a try but 32TL for 4 drinks compared to 20TL you have got admit is a little exspensive and will probably not go again,but it is a nice little bar.!!!

Joan, Can you taste any difference as I would think maybe one bar has imported Gin and maybe the others have locally made Gin...which like locally made Vodka.....cheaper...  Just a thought.
Ian is usually much fairer to with his amounts in the mini-Sands.
You could update your profile as you say you live here now...LOL

No honestly could not taste any difference,and no complaints about the measures and it is a nice a little bar.It was a girl who served us at the bar and we would have said something about the price but the Jandarma were there checking on all thier paperwork ect so we didnt like to complain while they were there incase it looked bad on them.Even at 7TL as it says on the menu 2x7TL doesnt make 16TL and that  what we got charged twice.Sorry have now changed my profile.

just to say, ian the Proprietor of the "little sands" from experience is one of the nicest guys you could possibly come across in calis/koca calis, i am sure any miss givings that may of occured at his bar are a genuine mistake, i pop in every now and again sometimes i drink beer sometimes whiskey/coke have never had a problem with measures,prices or quality of product but if i did i wouldn't hesitate to mention it to ian who i can Guarantee would ratify the situation, please don't let any of the above posts put you off going there as the only loser will be yourself...
