Thanks for greetings...

Yes the customs fiasco at Cancun was 'different' to say the least. Even though i was taking some school supplies to a local charity the customs were grilling me about it. The supplies were school bags and pens, they wanted a price of it so in the end I said $10, after all that they even asked for some of them lol...

It was different attending the wedding on the beach, but I sweated buckets as I was dressed in full Highland regalia....It raised a few eyebrows though and the old question was raised a few times.

Last holiday we had was at the Fuga hotel in Gumbert, however I still feel that the holiday we had at Calis beach in the Oyken hotel was a very good one.

So thus Im search for a good deal pleading poverty on a second two week holiday.....

Hi Scotsnomad

I was in Cancun about seven years ago. Can't say I liked it that much - but would loved mexico and would like to go back and stay at tulum - what a beach that is!
