Hi everyone.
My name is Michael and I have been a regular visitor to Turkey since 1966,
I fell in love with Turkey on my first visit and although the country has changed a lot since then, I cant think of anywhere else I would rather be.
Mike

Hello Mike and welcome to this forum. I too have been visiting Turkey for many years and I love Calis and surrounding areas. I never feel far away whilst I use this site and members are so helpful giving hints, tips and keeping me up dated with whats going on. Any questions just ask. Enjoy the forum.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome.
I spent my early years in turkey mainly in the north. I lived in Istanbul for nine months in 1967.
Traveled the black sea coast, Samsun, Trabzon, also Ankara, Erzurum, Van, Izmir, marmaris and antalya.
The last decade has been spent mainly in the south, Kas, Kalkan, Fethiye, Demri, Marmaris, Turunc, Orhaniye, Bozburun, Mugla and last year Akyaka,
And will be back in Akyaka next week.
Mike

welcome Mike A from another Mike A. Hope we don't get confused. I envy your long association with Turkey, and I am sure you will be able to tell us many tales of the past which we will all be eager to hear.
