After seeing the topic about movie tearjerkers. Maybe I'm a bit perverse but it made me think of what made me cry with laughter on TV. Preferably things that are unintentional, not things that are supposed to be funny - like the out-take programs.
I always used to like the song by Lional Richie - 'Hello!' however after seeing the video clip it now makes me tear up whenever I hear it - I don't think the video had the effect he wanted it to. When you see it remember the girl is supposed to be blind, put yourself in her position & he'd scare you sh....ss!
Remember back in the 70's, early 80's when they used to do 'late night horror' on TV. I ALWAYS used to stay up & watch & really creep myself out in an empty house. Then (in Wales) we had Arfon Haines Davis come on with the time & to shut down. Invariably he would come up with some comment on the program that had just creeped me seriously & instead of going to bed, listening for every sound (as you do - after a good horror) I'd go to bed doubled up with laughter. I'm sure that there are many more things that are unintentionally funny that make you all cry with laughter.
