Hi everyone,my wife and I are coming over to live in Calis beach / Fethiye area next autumn and hope to make lots of new friends. My debut question is we would like a couple of hound dogs and wonder if it would be better to get pedigrees or mutts from the local pound,and maybe some indication of price and availability.Thanks for your time!

As for the dogs I would just adopt a couple of them from the doggy centre.

as for the dogs there are many homeless dogs here so should think of looking at them first maybe you will find what you are looking for and help them at the same time

Welcome to the forum and good luck on your move.I don't stay in Calis,but a good few years ago we took in a stray from the dog home at Cardonald,Glasgow.It didn't work out because the dog had been running loose for some time, and chased children snarling at them.We got rid of it.
