Why do yanks call us limeys, cos our sailors used to suck limes to stop them getting scurvey, or the aussies call us pommys, most likely known by a lot, but not all, pommy is actually spelt wrong, on the backs of the prisoners that were sent to Botony Bay for crimes like stealing a loaf, was P.O.M.E. it was prisoners of mother England, so the people who are calling it us are actually descendants of real pommy,s, by the way it was the Italians who called it me most when i was there, when i was 14-17, there must be more, why the soldiers are called Tommy, and more.
