Hello everyone, we were on holiday in Turkey last year and loved the country and people, so we are looking to buy a property as a holiday/investment. We have heard about Calis Beach and hope to visit in February. Any advise on where to stay and what to see would be greatfully received.

Hi and a warm welcome to the forum.

Some of the horror stories you read about should convince you the best place to start is finding a good agent.

You will find plenty of recommendations on here for Interturk Estates - see: http://www.interturkestates.com/ (Cenk and Olga) and The Turkey Property Centre see: http://www.assuredestate.com/ (Keith & Yetkin).

We can't all be wrong!

All the best

Ian  :)

Hi Buddy, welcome to CBF. Having visited out of season in January and April, we love Calis year round  8). However February is not the best time to make a judgement this year as a large part of the centre of Calis is being redeveloped. Fethiye will be fully open as it is for 12 months a year. Regardless of developments we're sure you'll also love it.

Hi All, thanks for the welcome, from what I've heard Calis sounds like a wonderful place to visit or live, but I've just read 'cef's horror story and it kinda makes you more wary.

Welcome Buddy - be careful out there!

Mutlu,

Maybe I have missed your own introduction but I can't find one amongst your posts so far. If there is one somewhere can you point me to it and accept my apology for asking.

I see you are in Turkey yet you say you are a UK Estate Agent. Your travel expenses must be a bit steep -lol. I always knew you lot charge too much:D

Maybe you could enlighten us a little with an intro?

Cheers

Stoop :)
