Random acts of kindness
« on: February 07, 2008, 22:50:24 PM »

Earlier this week the trains from Northampton were delayed by several hours. I drop nick off at the station every morning and come back home have breakfast and go on to work. He rang at about 07.45 to say that the tains had been delayed and could I go back and collect him. I asked him to get a cab back home as I was almost out of the door. As he stood waiting for the taxis to come into the station a guy who had also fallen foul of the situation drove up offering to give anyone a lift to the nearest station. Nick accepted and spent a pleasant morning chatting with the guy as they made there way to the station and on to London. (george was horrified that dad would accept a lift from a stranger:D)

I thought it was a nice gesture from the guy and so I thought I would ask if any of you have had a random act of kindness from fellow human beings?
