Hi, everyone...new on the board, though have "lurked" off and on for a while before deciding to join up. Really like the good discussions and particularly the wicked humour of so many of the members.

We have purchased new-build in Fethiye and cannot wait to complete! Now looking to make new friends in the Calis/Fethiye area, both Turks and British alike.

Hi, Pookie and thanks for the note. Have a look at my profile for a picture of a horned frog. We used to have them in the garden by the dozen when I was growing up in Texas--now they are endangered. Too sad, as they have a great mythology and are the mascot of my University (TCU).

Hi, Ian. I know the Britannia quite well...were you here in the Lichfield area, too? I moved here about six years ago, after 5 years in London--nice to have trees, grass and livestock instead of just pavement.
