Thankyou all for such a welcome.I had only been to Turkey once when I bought the appartment as I loved Calis area so much. It is in Erdemler Setisi which is off Mustafa Kemal Bulvari ,Of course having only been there once it will be very new and I am looking forward to my visit with my daughter.Sadly getting there has been difficult and in Feb requires three flights each way but at least we can get there.
It is good to hear from you all and I look forward to communicating with you all.

Hi Judith

Have you booked your flights? I assume your 3 flights are via Heathrow and Istanbul - there should be direct flights from Manchester?

Hi Scunner, Yes we did book direct from Manchester ,my daughter booked and paid for 2 other flights so that we could drive down together.Three weeks ago they cancelled and my daughter Karen lost her money for the other connecting flights as they were with other airlines. We dont fancy Aegean Flights again. We managed to get from Heathrow only, I fly there and then we fly to Istanbul etc.We could not get an alternative from Manchester. At least we will get there and can look forward to Turkey. I guess summer flights are no problem.

Hi Judith, welcome to the forum.  We have just had our flights altered - instead of direct from Gatwick to Dalaman, we are going from Gatwick to Manchester, then on to Dalaman.  A lengthy alternative, but I guess we'll get there in the end!  Better than them being cancelled altogether.  Enjoy your holiday, Julie

Hi Judith and welcome. I think our house must be fairly near to you. Are you anywhere near Tansas supermarket as we are just across the road?
