Hi Charles

Numbers were good, nothing really to compare to as this was the first A Place in the Sun in Manchester.

Ron, Wotherspoons or Wetherspoons, you can't whack 3 doubles & coke for less than eight quid  :) - we had breakfast there yesterday and it was brill. We also went into trendy Manchester on Saturday night, tragically losing Ahmet Akay into a bar where you had to wear shoes. He was wearing shoes and we weren't (you try going out in shoes after standing up for 8 hours!) and by the time we were told we couldn't go in, he was swept away.

Girls don't wear much in Manchester on Saturday nights do they [:o]

I don't understand, why are you walking around in central Manchester with no shoes on especially with all that chewing gum about?

Tinx ;)

We were told you wear as little as possible in Manchester [:o]

Ahmet had a great time, he is our very good friend. Also Mete had a really good exhibition and both are good company. Things are looking quite good for Fethiye - we were all busy while some countries simply weren't. One other country doing brisk business was France, I thought it was all done and dusted over there but apparently not. Spain pretty dead as seems the case at all exhibitions nowadays. Cyprus and Crete seem fairly popular too, surprising when you see the prices [:o]

You have to be 'ard' to live 'up north', so like the ancient Spartans we leave new born babies on the fell's overnight, after that wandering around Manchester on Saturday  night half naked is nothing, or so Claire tells me.

I went out in my pyjama's too, but that's what happens through the night when the bathroom door and room door look the same  ;)
