I saw this on the Morning Programme. The young driver had only passed his test 6 months before, was driving a very powerful car and had been driving in a built up area at 72 miles per hour on the wrong side of the road and hit another car. The one year old child travelling in the other car is now permanently disabled. The driver got less than 2 years in jail. The child's parents are asking the government to restrict young drivers from driving powerful cars, and to also increase jail sentences.
