I just wondered, cos at the moment, as most of you know, i have come back to England for medical treatment, plus it's nice to be able to communicate with all the hospital staff, tho hell of a lot of them are foriegners, what i disagree with is, cos i was out of the country for over 6mths, which after paying national insurance for 40yrs, i think i am entitled to a nice relaxing long holiday, WRONG, i have now got to be in the country for 26wks before i can claim any benefits(i'm not bothered now, i get my pension at the end of June)but if i was a Croatian, Pole, Asian, Black, or any other country, and i was seeking asylum, would i have to wait 26wks then, i very much doubt it, but when i phoned up the social and pointed that out to them, they didn't even let me finish what i was saying, the phone went dead. So am i prejudiced for thinking i am entitled to equality, or am i as the Aussies say, just another whingeing pommy ba***rd. Alan
