julesbob- Office next to Jimmys soup kitchen advertising £10 pp transfers.  Mr F used yesterday, Picked up from apartment and on time.  I have contact details, if you want details pm me.   :)

I am booking this for my daughter and her friend who are coming out next month. Have to say, this is one of the cheapest offers around at the moment, especially if there are 1 one or 2 people needing a transfer. Thought it worth mentioning that it's being run as a shuttle service so you may have up to an hours wait (but no more than that), while travelers from other flights arrive at Dalaman. Still it's a good price for door to door service.

I am astounded that while Turkey has understood the need for safe vehicles and adequate insurance in their tourism industry, you haven't. Tursab regulate and ensure that those wanting to do airport transfers have proper insurance and physically check the vehicles being used for safety.

You are booking this for two important cargoes - your daughter and somebody else's daughter - because it is cheap. The car may have no brakes and/or may have no insurance whatsoever; what if something horrendous happens en-route? You only see the price and not the potential consequences - have you any idea whether they are registered officially? I'd bet rather a lot of money that they aren't if they are charging a tenner.

My daughter's friends booked Hamish McTurk and quoted 70 gbp for 4 people return and they picked them up from the airport unfortunately they never picked them up to take them back to the airport, they were waiting at 2.20 a.m. (after they had been in the shop the same day to clarify the time) and the driver never turned up.  They rang the number that had been given to them in case of any problems and it was a wrong number.  After waiting until 3.00 a.m. the Blue Pearl Hotel receptionist organised a transfer which I understand cost them 70 gbp one way.  I received an e:mail at 7.00 a.m. that morning from the transfer driver asking why the 4 people had not been there when the driver turned up for them, I rang Hamish McTurk and was eventually told that the transfer driver had fallen asleep, so why did he lie and say he was there to pick them up when obviously he wasn't, Hamish McTurk also said it was the first time this year this had happened, I said it is only June, so obviously this must happen alot. He said he would compensate them but when I went down he didn't want to know.  I am angry these kids were left in the middle of the night paniking they were going to miss their flight and then ripped of by the Blue Pearl Hotel for 70 GBP one way.  So the moral of this story is DONT BOOK TRANSFERS FROM HAMISH MCTURK.

I am insulted that you can blithely assume that I would sacrifice my daughters (or anyone else's) safety to save a couple of quid! Unbelievable!
You imply that this is some dodgy illegal operation using clapped out  old vehicles, it is NOT. A short walk from your office to theirs, would soon confirm this.
For your information I personally know one of the partners who run this  business and he has been in the tourism/travel industry for more than twenty years, and ALL of their vehicles are well maintained and reliable. He is even a franchise for Avis for God's sake!.
As I stated previously this is a shuttle service, hence an potential hour of hanging around before you depart the airport, and at the moment he is actually running it at a loss using a VW people carrier, which will carry, I believe, a maximum of 10 passengers. However he does have foresight to see if he can get enough people on seats he is going to earn more than £30 for a one way transfer. Obviously he can't keep running it at a loss for ever so I thought it worth a mention to drum up some interest, and no I'm not on commission!

And, yes, of course they are officially registered, I would personally have a lot  more confidence using his services than some of the other transport businesses that have been mentioned in the past.

Their business card states they are Tursab registered, and their cars are new and comfortable. :)

I'm interested in hearing the name of this Tursab registered company, something you didn't mention in either post. If it is a Tursab registered company then say so, you haven't so far. "ALL of their vehicles are well maintained and reliable" isn't the same as being Tursab registered. Oh, and just because business cards say something it isn't confirmation of anything.

I'm not one for talking down businesses and new enterprise in the area, this website is here to do the opposite (amongst other things) but I have a responsibility to ensure that recommended companies on here meet the legal requirements that were put in place to safeguard everyone.

You appear to have got me wrong. I hope you will come back and confirm all of the above so we can all help publicise their value for money service.

There we are then, Tursab registered. I'm not having a go at anyone, I'm expressing the importance of using a Tursab registered company for transfers - it is the most important thing you need to find out.

I wish them well with it, it's going to be tough to make a profit doing it this way though.
