More Carnival Photo's

With these pics I've tried to get across just how busy it was yesterday - as Loz said Calis was packed like none of us will ever have seen before.

Well done to the organisers, it was a superb day which was truly British/Turkish in equal measures, and good for Calis. From the seafront to the Dolphin roundabout every bar and restaurant was packed for the procession.

Also well done to Maria's, who won the cup for best dressed bar/restaurant for Carnival day:

One of the things that I found very noticeable was how happy all the children taking part seemed to be. I heard quite a few comments to this effect.  Just a couple of such examples and there were many more.

To everyone responsible for bringing together the Calis Carnival well done...you certainly pulled it off.
Special thanks must go to Pete and Chrisie for their valient effort in staging the masked ball and to Heidi for pulling together a wonderful concert last night. I was privileged to be amongst a wonderful array of talent who gave their all made,so much easier by the wonderful stage, effects and lighting which made us all look top class.
Ps Heidi...if I added to your stress may I take this opportunity of saying sorry. You were brill...well done!!!!!!
Once More a huge pat on the back to the Calis Carnival...until next year!!!!!
