Hello everyone
« on: June 09, 2008, 20:16:36 PM »
Hi there all, my wife Rahme and I, have a small apartment in a nice new very small block of just 6 in Calis Beach. We bought it new around 2 years ago, but we think we may now sell it . Our builders ( Sevenhills Estates, owned and run by Efendi Alaskan ) have been "managing" things but our contract with them to do so has now expired, and we are keen to find a good agent in the region to manage everything for us. We love the area around Fethiye but find the travelling is now too much expense and hassle. Hope to get some useful info and help from you good folks on the forum. TYIA

Hi and welcome to the forum
What a shame your thinking of selling up.
Have you thought of renting to family and friends to help cover your costs?

Depends how much you expect to pay for a 4 hour flight. We go on Thursday with FTC and paid 170 each all in. I'm not sure you are ever going to get really cheap flights unless you are in the position to book yonks in advance or wait until the last minute.

Welcome to the forum.

Hi and a very warm welcome to the Forum.  It is always sad when for some reason or another someone is unable to proceed with the plans they have made. :)

Hi all, and thanks for the replys...I didnt get email notice that you had replied - how do I switch that on then, and smilies ?? ??
I am afraid things are more personally complicated than that, simply renting to friends and family is not possible - no one knows we have it!.....dont ask :-(
My wife is now getting desperate to sell as she worries herself ill - literally - about the property, and our builders are classic examples of Turks who promise a lot and deliver nothing!
We just want out. Can you advise what and where I should post next within the forum. TYIA
( PS we do at least have a good lawyer out there - Gul Tanal i9f anyone knows her )

Hi Tim & Rahme, sorry to read of your troubles.  There are several threads on here that mention both the company & person you mention.  If you put their names into the 'Search' facility top right of screen, you'll find them.  Here's one of them, sorry but it will do nothing more to help you & your situation than it does for me/mine (nearly 4 years) :(, but it will give you some information. Good Luck.
