My Trip To Calis
« on: June 15, 2008, 17:50:57 PM »
Once again back to the grind tomorrow, how was my break ?:-\

Firstly love the new Calis well the part from Dolphin roundabout to the New Bridge, :)

Ali's Bar was Ottoman but now Ali is working there with brother Faik place has lost that closed in look and relly looks good now :)

De Ja Vue was Alladins but is now run by Figo (Han Bar)very select and up market full every night in fact couldnt get a seat one night Laffa & Co taken them all Ha ha  8) 8)

B-52 still there as before but has been given a makeover nice inside but you need to like it to have a good time in there:D:D

U2 yes he's back MURAT has finally reappeared after a year away from Calis still as lively as ever brilliant fire show every Tuesday  8) 8)

Georges Bar must admit we had our best meals and nights in there :) :)

Bambu hate to say this went in once on promises night thought not much had changed then went in for a meal couple of nights later, went for the fillet of lamb ( recommended by Falcon )3 small portions of meat so no i dont think the place has changed much still smal portions. :-\ :-\

Koca Calis beach certainly plenty of variety there now at least 3 new spots opening shortly ( keep us informed Teresa )

Finally met up with loads of CBF members far too many to remember it was good to meet you all hope to see most of you again in September/October we need to have a party. 8) 8) 8)

a special thanks to Tarzan & Crazy Horse from B-52 who managed to stop police arresting my son, ( thats another story those who were there know what happened ) 8)

Ron  :) :)

Thanks to you all, son is OK as someone said in Calis last week "Its a story to tell the grandkids" unless you were there you wouldnt believe it.

In all our years of going to Calis never had any bother in fact we feel our kids are more safer in Calis than in the UK. Will need to think on that again now.

Anyway it was good to meet up with you all and put a face to a posting .

No dancing on the Bar in Scarletts this time Anne

Ron
