Hi again everyone

Not sure how many packets you can bring back but I don't think there is a limit but perhaps someone with more know how on the rules and regulations would be better to answer this one.  I brought back 4 packs.  I also bring back the strong antibiotics on my last visit for the year as usually someone in the family needs for throat, ears, chest etc (bought back 4 packs of those as well with no problems).  They are the ones where you only have to take 1 twice a day because of the high dosage - again very useful to have in as long as you don't overuse of course.

Regards prickly heat - the antihistamine that I mentioned is apparently excellent for that.  My friend originally bought it for that as she suffers very badly and swears by it.

Prickly heat can be caused by sun lotion blocking the sweat glands - try Piz Buin Allergy lotion

Agree with you Scunner about creams.  Also good is Ultrasun High Protection 20. Used once a day it's a clear lotion and doesn't aggravate.

Thanks everyone for your advice about hayfever in Calis, I really appreciate your help, I have just purchased one of the Lloyds ionisers today so will try my son with that at home and at least now when I visit Turkey I know to take his medicine.

Thanks for the advice, and yes Piz Buin allergy works for me. However when we were over in May I ran out because it was so hot and I had to go and buy some Ambre Solair. My prickly heat came within 24 hours and drove me insane. Just wondered if anyone had some good tips.

I dont suffer in Turkey as much as i do in uk ,when sleeping try a paper dust mask like builders wear it works for me and ear plugs for my wifes snooring this is worse in Turkey

I have never suffered from Hayfever before until last year in Turkey. This year it has started already with a vengance. I am taking cetryn antihistamine, which has some effect but is not brilliant. Can anyone recommend a stronger antihistamine for pollen allergies and does anyone know if you can have an injection as opposed to tablets>
