Don't know how true this is but I was told during my last visit it was because I used Listerine mouthwash???  There may be some truth in it since 15 visits later and never been bitten!!  There is no truth however in the suggestion that my blood turns to pure Efes after the first night!!

Best advice i could give and that really works,take someone with you that the the mozzies really love and keep them close to you

I have a remedy after you've been bitten ..... drink plenty of EFES.... and the bite don't feel half so bad!
I only go out for medicinal purposes!!

I've used a few ideas, drunk plenty of efes, raki and vodka, i've had vitamin b pills, maybe the one that worked the best was sewagemans, i used to go with my partner, the mozzies loved her more than i did, i upset her one morning, i woke ip to find 3 on her face, so i hit them with a damp towel, and killed all 3, she went mad, no, i was joking about that part, lol, i only killed 2. I also used boots mozzy wipes and spray ( the ones in the silver packaging ) have used countless other stuff but find these are the only ones that work for me.

Hi there,my partener use to get a lot of bites untill she got recomended with a spray what they sell in the outdoor shops, blacks etc etc. its a deat spray 50% 75% 100%,she puts the 100 on her legs and arms and little bit of 50 around neck and face.she very rare gets a bite now!!!its worth a try.phil

over the years i have tried things that you spray in your rooms, lotions and potions that you use on yourself, little burner things and plug in's.... none of them worked for me. I think it's an individual thing. I get bitten a couple of times during the first 2 or 3 evenings then they leave me alone, ive found that using absolutely nothing works best for me...try it, you may be surprised!! my family however buy creams that have deat in them and they swear by them!...  x
